About the Wisconsin Bioenergy Initiative
Created in 2007 by University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, the Wisconsin Bioenergy Initiative (WBI) seeks to cultivate bioenergy expertise among UW-Madison, UW-System and Wisconsin stakeholders to anchor the innovative research that is being conducted within our great state. We are a university-based coalition that helps the talent across Wisconsin create, commercialize and promote bio-based solutions.
On our site, you will find bioenergy news and events, research highlights, links and tools to learn more about bioenergy and other renewable energy sources, and updates on policy and energy industry trends. We encourage you to explore the site, and become an active part of the future of bioenergy.
